Weight loss is such a hot topic right now because of the Ozempic craze, and honestly, I’ve said this before, and I’m going to keep saying it. The over-prescription of Ozempic is giving me Sackler Oxycontin vibes.
Let me say that I know they are very different. Oxycontin is highly addictive and kills and ruins lives. Ozempic hasn’t killed anyone, and people aren’t addicted to it, but it’s still a problem.
However, prescriptions of Ozempic + friends (Wegovy, Trulicity, Victoza, Mounjaro) are being passed out like candy on Halloween.
& it’s because people are sold it’s a quick fix, and the weight loss industry is racking in BILLIONS of dollars on American’s desire to look like Barbie dolls every year.
CREAMI UPDATE
I need to provide an update for my Ninja Creami review. The machine I purchased in November 2023 was faulty, so my review may not be 100% accurate. The machine’s motor wasn’t working as it was supposed to. Luckily, it didn’t catch on fire like some others!
Ninja was kind enough to send me a replacement (an upgraded machine), which has worked much better. However, I wouldn’t recommend it quite yet because my blender can do everything it does. But I did want to share that new information.
